Scaling and Eigenmode Tests of the Improved Fat Clover Action
We test the scaling properties of a recently proposed improved lattice-fermion action, the fat link clover action, for lattice spacing a = 0.09 and 0.16 fm. The action scales as well as the conventional nonperturbatively improved clover action. Tests done at small quark mass on quenched lattices of lattice spacing 0.12 fm show that it has fewer problems with pathological lattice artifacts (“exc...

15 صفحه اولSCRI Results With the Tadpole-Improved Clover Action
I discuss a study performed by the SCRI lattice gauge theory group which compared light hadron spectroscopy using the Wilson and Clover fermionic actions. We showed that a Clover coefficient chosen using tadpole-improved tree-level perturbation theory effectively eliminates the O(a) discretization errors present in the Wilson action. We found that discretization errors in light spectroscopy for...
متن کاملUsing Tadpole Improved Clover Wilson Action on Coarse Anisotropic Lattices
In an exploratory study, using the tadpole improved clover Wilson quark action on small, coarse and anisotropic lattices, the ππ scattering length in the I = 2 channel is calculated within quenched approximation. A new method is proposed which enables us to make chiral extrapolation of our lattice results without calculating the decay constant on the lattice. Finite volume and finite lattice sp...
